Types of Food That are Often Consumed by Athletes!

The body needs food with adequate nutrition and of good quality, so that it remains in excellent condition for a long time. At least, so we don't get sick easily. We are grateful that our bodies can be healthy, strong, and help us become accomplished athletes.

For those of you who are athletes or want to be athletes, there are several types of food that you must consume. Among them:

1. Kale

Its green and fresh color seems to indicate that this vegetable, which is still in the same family as cabbage, kailan, hunks and broccoli, is beneficial for health because it has high levels of vitamins A, K and B6.

The substances that are mostly contained by vegetables that are foreign to here but popular in Europe, America and Japan are carotenes and flavonoids, which are nothing but the best natural antioxidants!

2. Milk 

If this one is mandatory for consumption by athletes. Milk with low fat and high protein, will make bone density and muscle mass better.

3. Banana

Bananas are one of the best energy supplier foods. In an emergency, bananas can actually prevent athletes from muscle cramps.

4. Chia seeds 

Chia seeds, or Basil, have excellent uses for supplying fiber and fiber.

These seeds can increase metabolism very significantly, especially to help the body absorb nutrients better.

5. Walnut kernels 

Grains are also favored by rodents, and these rabbits do a good job of increasing levels of B vitamins and antioxidants.

6. Sweet potato 

One more of the best sources of carbohydrates that can maintain the condition of athletes, namely sweet potatoes.

The sweet taste is able to supply a very good amount of energy. Consuming it is also not complicated, so it is suitable if sweet potatoes are a favorite menu for many athletes.

7. Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a food that the body can recognize as a good reserve of carbohydrates.
